This is just a python code reference book which describes how to code standard machine learning algorithms in Python. Be warned that if you wish to learn true concepts behind those machine learning algorithms, please check elsewhere. For a novice in this field I do not recommend this book to anyone at any cost. But if you are someone, who has mastered fundamentals of ML in another language such as "R" then this will b a descent reference book to apply that knowledge in Python. Please be note that even for that purpose u may still find many better alternatives than this book, in places like Udemy, Courseera.
These state they are for beginners: they are not. I am certain they are great for engineering students who are pursuing a masters .... but much of this was way over our heads.

Breezes through topics, providing only sample programs with little (and sometimes no) explanation on the what, why or how.
If you are looking for a straight-ahead book that gets you into AI using Python quickly, this book is for you. You definitely need to know something about Python! Wouldn't hurt to know something about statistics either. I use Pycharm Edu, and all of the code worked fine. I did have to update some of the libraries, however.
Every topic outlined is introductory machine learning. Titling it AI seems very, very forewarning.
No explanation of each technique. Only very simple Python codes
