I read lots of zombie stories, but this series is one of my favorite. The smart remarks, the great military people to help, but most of all.....the ninja. On to book four....
What a ride it has been. Main characters have come into their own. Fast action and good story line. Waiting patiently ( not really) for number 4.
Cant say i agree with jens tactics but i cant seem to put this down waiting for the fourth book
Im loving it now. This book has reached its peak everthing. Desperately awaiting for the fourth. BUY THE BOOKS!!! WELL WORTH IT
I've currently read all three books in this series and at first, I wasn't really impressed, but...the series grows on you. The characters are one-dimensional, stereotypical and do all the expected stupid things that people do in bad horror movies. The main antagonist even had a monologue outlining his evil plans while the main character was listening in from the heating ducts above, (then of course she had to drop an ax in the vent, alerting the evil mastermind that someone was listening in...) The main character is supposed to be a sarcastic, witty, smart-talking female but her one liners are not really funny or witty or all that smart. The teenaged ninja is a hoot, though.But again, it grows on you. If you allow yourself to pretend you are watching a hokey, low budget, B-rated horror movie from the 70's, you will enjoy this book. Don't try to put too much thought into it, and you will giggle a bit and not regret buying it. As bad as this review sounds, I am looking forward to the next book that comes out. It is a nice series for days when you want something that will help you forget reality for a while.
Zombies by the hundreds, by the millions and more. A Military leader with very personal, not friendly, aspirations. And our heroes, Jen, Mark, Zeke and Grant. Zane gets to really flex his character in the 3rd novel by M.A. Robbins' series, the Zombie Uprising. Citadel is even better than the last two... which amazes me because they are all phenomenal! I could not stop reading unless I had to. The only thing I'm upset about? Waiting for book for in September. You can pre-order!!! 😆 Whew!!! That was an intense, fast, thrill ride of a trilogy. I'm glad the take hours on, can't wait. I want book 4 now!!! Sigh.Enjoy, you will. My personal guarantee if to love or live zombies!
Mr. Robbins delivers another great story! This series just gets more interesting as the books go on. He has given us a very unique spin on the zombie apocalypse theme which is always nice since it seems like every possible way has been done already. Twists and turns and zombies galore fill these books and I loved this one the most so far. I definitely recommend this book and series to anyone who enjoy reading anything horror or zombie themed! You won't regret it!
When I first read book 1 in this series I was kinda worried that the cover was a bit garnish and the book would not be all that good. I was surprised that the book was so good and went quickly to the second book where I met two of my favorite men in the series, Mark and Zeke. All three books are non-stop action with great fight scenes. I really enjoy kick- ass heroine and Jen is certainly one. Great series and I wish the 4th one was available in print which is how I like to read books. Buy this series and you will not be disappointed.
